Privacy Policy
This page is a courtesy translation of the Japanese original. The Japanese version is the legally operative text.
HIXOR ("we", "us") sets out this Privacy Policy for the handling of personal information on the website "hixor.jp" (the "Site") that we operate.
1. Business information
Business name: HIXOR
Representative: Yuji Hirose
Location: Kuwana City, Mie, Japan
Contact: info@hixor.jp
2. Information we collect
- Inquiries — information you send us by email, such as your email address, name/company name, and the content of your inquiry.
- Contact form — your name, email address, inquiry type, and message entered in the Site's contact form.
- Language preference — a cookie that remembers your language only when you switch the language manually (see Section 6). Nothing is collected for automatic detection alone.
- Access logs — the Site's server automatically records access logs such as IP address, browser type, and access date/time.
Input to the Site's free tools (Security Self-Check, Backup 3-2-1 Planner) is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
3. Purposes of use
- To reply to inquiries and contact you
- To provide services and maintenance support
- To remember the display language you selected (language-preference cookie)
- To operate the Site, prevent misuse, and respond to failures
- Purposes incidental to the above
4. Use of AI and external services (processors)
We use the following external services to provide our services, and send/process information to the extent necessary. Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy.
- Render (hosting of the Site / access-log recording)
- Make (automation for notifying us of, and handling, form submissions)
- Google (font delivery, etc.)
- GoatCounter (access analytics / aggregate statistics only, without cookies; see Section 6)
Sending information to these services is part of our outsourcing of operations and does not constitute provision to a third party.
5. Provision to third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties without your prior consent, except where based on laws and regulations, where necessary to protect life, body, or property and consent is difficult to obtain, or where cooperation with a government body performing statutory duties is required.
6. Cookies and access analytics
The Site uses no cookies for advertising and issues no cookies for tracking purposes. Access analytics does not use cookies either. We use the analytics service "GoatCounter" to understand page usage and improve content. GoatCounter uses no cookies and performs no cross-site tracking; only aggregate information such as pages viewed, referrers, and browser/screen size is collected, with no personally identifying information.
Language-preference cookie: the Site's language is normally selected automatically from your browser's language settings, and no cookie is used for that automatic detection. Only when you use the header language switcher to choose a language manually do we issue a cookie named "hixor_lang" that remembers your choice. It lasts 365 days, is used solely to store the display language, and is never used for tracking. If you delete or disable cookies in your browser, the language returns to automatic detection. (When external resources such as fonts are delivered, access information may be sent to the delivering provider's servers.)
7. Security measures
We take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, including encrypted communications (HTTPS) and access-rights management.
8. Requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc.
You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of your personal information that we hold. Please contact the address below. After verifying your identity, we will respond within a reasonable period in accordance with the law.
9. Contact

10. Revisions to this policy
We may revise this policy in response to changes in laws or services. A revision takes effect when posted on the Site.
Established: November 3, 2026 / Revised: November 7, 2026 (revision accompanying the introduction of the language-preference cookie)
